Who are you?
Hi, I'm Ayla (ˈeɪlə), a furry trans woman in the midwest.
Tech has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with it, I work with it, and I'm constantly dabbling with various side projects in my free time. My early obsession with gaming and compuers is still going strong, especially when it comes to flight and racing sims. When I'm not in front of a screen, I'm into everything from aviation, to cars and motorcycles, and - brace yourselves - I even manage the occasional bit of real grass touching.
Oh, and fuck generative AI.
What is this place?
This is my personal site, I've had many like it over the years, this is the current iteration and will probably not be permanent. It's a place for me to put my thoughts and projects so that I'm able to share them easily when wanted. The software stack for the site is Ghost, Docker, Caddy, and BunnyCDN. Alongside the site I am running a local mail server stack for administration (and I do NOT recommend anyone else ever do that. Ever). All of this runs on OpenSUSE Leap 16.
